Established in 1984, Houston Ebony Opera Guild (HEOG) is a performing arts organization of classically trained vocalists from the Houston community. HEOG is dedicated to broadening the reach of opera, traditional Negro Spirituals, and classical music. The governing body of HEOG is The Houston Ebony Music Society, Inc., a 501(c)3 corporation which is governed by a board of directors.
