The Houston Climate Justice Museum & Cultural Center’s mission is to educate and inspire action on climate and environmental issues through art, exhibits, and programs.
The Museum is an interdisciplinary space led by a collective of artists, scholars, and social scientists located in Houston’s East End/Greater Second Ward that addresses the climate crisis through arts and culture programming. We focus on the communities most impacted by a warming planet and tell stories to create more equal opportunities for well-being within a world of environmental catastrophe. The museum hosts artist talks, collaborative workshops, social hours, activist gatherings, organization meetings, and living room style discussions for adults and students alike.
