A collective of artists working at the Hardy & Nance Studios.
Hardy & Nance Studios is located in Houston’s historic, Downtown Art Warehouse District to provide good, affordable working space for area artists. Award winning painters, sculptors, jewelry designers, videographers & photographers are already in residence at Hardy & Nance and the spaces will accommodate most visual arts media.
The casual setting of Third Saturday allows art aficionados, potential buyers and other artists the opportunity to discuss works in progress and perhaps witness a masterpiece in the making. This gallery-alternative event also offers a chance to buy affordable art directly from the artists. Of the 30-plus artists in residence The Hardy & Nance Street Studios, usually 10-12 are on-site to participate and discuss their work.
Plenty of street parking is available and the event is open to the public. The Hardy & Nance Street Studios have been an official site for FotoFest and included on Houston’s Art Crawl for the past two years. The 15,000 SF building, located in Houston’s historic warehouse district, is one of the better examples of a conversion to artist studios, with for-lease studio spaces from 120 to 1400 SF and a large gallery.
