Voices of Resilience

November 11 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

The Texas Medical Center Orchestra announces the start of its exciting 25th season! We are honored to collaborate with various artists in presenting our presentation of Voices of Resilience. To start off our evening off, we open with a focus on the community issue of homelessness, performing “ Lost Child”, a commissioned work by contemporary composer Max Vinetz. Also featured is performing artist Randall Packer, who will perform the role of the soldier in our Veteran’s weekend tribute to homeless veterans in “A Soldier’s Tale: From Glory to Homelessness to Healing”. Returning to collaborate again with TMCO is the Rev. Michael Gott who will be our vocal soloist in A Soldier’s Tale. Included in his songs will be “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, which he performed at Mayor Whitmire’s inauguration. We finish the evening with a resounding performance of Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4.
