Trick-Art-Treat Loteria Card Workshop

Want to be a part of a new dance work from The Pilot Dance Project? The celebrated Houston-based company will unveil a series of new dances this fall based on the beloved Mexican board game, Loteria. Acclaimed choreographer Cynthia Garcia will create El Baile de Loteria, which will be shown at MECA’s Dia de Muertos celebration and the MD Anderson YMCA’s annual Posada celebration. The new work will include a set design created by community members and spearheaded by Art in the Heart and ArtUniti’s Tami Moscioni. Come help create a part of the set at Art in the Heart’s Trick-Art-Treat Loteria card-making workshop on Saturday, October 26 from 4PM – 8PM. Celebrate community, art, and the dance-making process at this free family event!
