This exhibition was conceived as a parallel development of the recently published monograph “Tony Feher: Drawings,” (Gregory R. Miller & Co.) and proposes that looking at Feher’s sculptures and installations through the lens of drawing makes clear that Feher explored the possibilities of drawing with sculptural material that could be experienced phenomenologically. Over the course of several decades, Feher’s diverse methods of drawing in space took many forms that span from the most simplified line drawings, to complex mark-making, and even include drawing with non-linear materials (such as bottles filled with liquid.) We are pleased to exhibit seven sculptures that were made between 2000-2012.
