So you have a niche, a place where your writing usually lands. Good to stake a claim to a type of writing you enjoy and that you.are familiar with! But what about that story or poem that doesn’t quite fit? Or an experimental piece you wrote that you felt was a one-off? These can be valuable too!
This Sunday at the Submission Room we will look at how writing outside your genre can be fulfilling as a writer and how pushing the boundaries of what you consider your wheelhouse can be positive for ALL of your writing.
