Buffalo Bayou Mural Festival is a local Houston event bringing together local and international muralists together to celebrate community and creativity. The BBMF’s overall goal is to foster community and birth new opportunities through art for the current and the next generation of artists in Houston.
This event is curated with the intention of exposing the masses to the possibilities, not only in their own community, but around the world through art education and creative expression.
This year, mural sites will emerge all along Canal St. in the Second Ward, on Houston’s beautiful East End. The BBMF has been curated by an experienced staff of local artists and community organizers in order to bring the city of Houston a cohesive and immersive Mural Festival experience.
