Revisit a 1990s star-studded indie gem that perfectly balances humor, tragedy, and pathos in the chronicles of a spirited Italian American New York family. Household Saints stars Vincent D’Onofrio as a butcher who “wins” his wife (Tracey Ullman) in a pinochle game. Over the protests of his eccentric Catholic mother, Carmela, the couple marries. When Carmela dies, her spirit embodies the couple’s daughter (Lili Taylor).
