Directions to the Altharetta Yeargin Art Museum Coming from Downtown: From Downtown Houston, take I-10 west, exit Kirkwood and do a U-turn under freeway. Go through the light at Kirkwood then take a right by the Taco Cabana. The Museum will be straight in front of you when you reach the stop sign. Look for the beautiful painted exterior. We are on the north side of the Westchester high school campus. The entrance is from Britoak behind the playground. Coming from Katy: Exit I-10 at Kirkwood. Go through the light. Come meet our young student artists to learn about their creative processes as part of the NewSpring CREATES program. Join us in celebrating their artistic achievements and visit with students to learn how they produced their personal masterpieces!
The NewSpring Student Art Exhibit will feature artwork from elementary and secondary student artists from the NewSpring after-school art program during the month of September. NewSpring is a non-profit located in the Spring Branch area of Houston that provides tuition-free art classes to underserved students.
