Myth Making (Online)

November 9 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

$20 – $25

Learn exercises for discovering our personal mythology, and use visual or written art forms to give a living shape to our stories and move them forward. To be able to tell your story is no small task. To probe into our behaviors and histories, to remember the images that have shaped and continue to shape us, is to access ways of thinking so ancient that they existed long before we had words for them. How do we tell a story that is too ancient for words? Myth provides images that inform us, wordlessly, of our personal or collective story. Through these mythic images, we can better understand how our modern lives are part of an ancient story that began long before we were conscious of it, and will never end. Further, we can take those images and use them to see our own stories more clearly. Join us to learn exercises for discovering our personal mythology, and use visual or written art forms to give a living shape to our stories and move them forward.
