Alessandro Bardani’s heartwarming road movie The Best Century of My Life, based on his play of the same name, tells the story of Giovanni (Valerio Lundini) and Gustavo (Sergio Castelitto), respectively 34 and 99 years old, and their hilarious journey in search of their origins. Bardani’s well written and well-acted film seamlessly combines tears and laughter.
