Experience Italy in Houston! Join us for our Open House on Sunday, April 21 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and delight in shopping, games, giveaways, live performances, demo classes, and more at the historic Milford House. This event is open to all ages and will be free to the public. Whether you’re a longtime supporter of the Italian Cultural & Community Center or you’re new to our organization, we invite you to explore the best of Italian culture in Houston at our Open House.

Activities
Throughout the afternoon, guests will enjoy complimentary refreshments and have the opportunity to sample and shop from our curated vendors. Guests ages 21 and older can participate in wine samplings from Morales Beverage Group, Tuttilili Wines & Specialty Foods, and Vinello. Attendees can also participate in tombola, a lottery-style board game that originated in Southern Italy, and in our bocce tournament.
Our Open House will also feature live operatic performances from Jonatán Reyes, Edmond Rodriguez, Collin James, Gage Campos, and Kellan Dunlap. Angela Jardina will also perform a selection of popular Italian music from the latter half of the 20th century.
If you’re interested in learning Italian but not sure where to start, we’ll be offering demo language classes during the event, as well. This will be a great opportunity to meet some of our teachers at La Scuola d’Italiano!
