Enjoy a free poetry reading by 2023-2025 Houston Poet Laureate Aris Kian Brown and nationally-acclaimed Houston poet Reyes Ramirez. It’s a chance to hear original verses by two of the city’s most accomplished poets, meet them in person, and ask them questions. This community event will be an intimate, friendly gathering at Freeman Memorial Library, a Harris County Public Library located in Southeast Houston (Clear Lake area). Hosted by Houston Arts Journal’s Catherine Lu.
