Give Yourself a Hand: Exploring the Irrational Art of Containment (In Person)

Join Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH) and The Jung Center, and discover the power that creativity has to help us make sense of our darkest moments, to feel safe in the face of a difficult history, and to find fertile ground from which we can grow.
Beginning at CAMH, we’ll explore Jordan Strafer Trilogy – an exhibition of video installations on display through November 26, 2023 – with a guided tour and introduction at the Museum, and make our way to The Jung Center for a series of art and movement experiences geared towards deepening our understanding of, and radically accepting, the darker parts of our lives.

Through living and working with Strafer’s evocative work, we will uncover our innate ability to care for ourselves, and learn to listen for the quiet, wise, and sometimes surprising voice we all carry within.
