This year Discovery Green brings all your favorite winter traditions to the center of downtown Houston. The fun kicks off the Green Mountain Energy Ice at Discovery Green season. The first 50 people in line at 5 p.m. skate for free and Forever Green Members skate for free from 5 – 7 p.m.

Make snow angels in the snow zone and take a picture with your favorite Santa Claus including Houston’s own Pancho Claus and Black Santa. Plus, enjoy hip-hop dance performances from J-Dance Company while checking out spectacular art cars from The Orange Show. Then, get ready for an ice-cold DJ set from H-Town Frankie featuring all your favorite nostalgic hip-hop and H-Town favorites.
