Faith, Friends, and Film is a film screening series presented by The Door, a ministry of St. John the Divine. Each screening is paired with a theme related to faith. “Minari” depicts the life of a Korean American family who moves to a farm in the Arkansas Ozarks in search of economic stability and prosperity. Their new life encounters resistance and the family’s resilience proves essential to the family’s good life found amidst failed crops and even social rejection.
