D.R.E.A.M. = A WAY TO AFRAM

Li Harris?s durational performance takes the form of a research and meditation lab for the restoration and liberation of Black and indigenous beings. Presented in a large black box theater, the project will include an installation and elements of live performance in collaboration with artist Alisha Wormsley and the community. Partly inspired by the artists? 2021 residency in Marfa, Texas, participants will utilize light, sound, field recordings, video, and a large wind chime sculpture to individually and collectively conduct and experience processes of healing, restoration and freedom.
