Uncover how the tools of creative expression and mindful relaxation can support you in navigating the many types of roadblocks that come with grief. Loss is always a deeply personal experience. When a vital part of our life is suddenly and painfully missing, it’s completely natural to struggle to re-adapt to life. In these moments, it can be helpful to develop skills for benevolently supporting ourselves, and for seeing and meeting ourselves exactly where we are. Join us for this workshop and uncover how the tools of creative expression (through collage) and the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) can support you in navigating the many types of roadblocks that come with grief. EFT is a gentle and empowering way to discover and explore stagnant energies, and to bring peace to these raw and perhaps unseen parts of ourselves. Then – as we collage in a critique- and goal-free art studio space – we’ll allow the meditative quality to help access our inner worlds, and find where fresh hope resides. No artistic experience is necessary.
