The event is free to the public. We hope that once you hear about our plans to renovate our building, that you will do an optional, but generous donation to CMCH's Building Development Fund at cmchouston.org. Also, it helps with planning if you will make a reservation at https://www.greenvelope.com/event/Flutist-Judy-Dines-CMCH-Concert. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you.

Gifted Flutist Judy Dines Performs Benefit Concert for Community Music Center of Houston (CMCH)
Renowned flutist Judy Dines, Acting Associate Principal Flutist of the Houston Symphony Orchestra, will give a special benefit concert on Saturday, December 16, 2023, for CMCH, a nonprofit providing music education for underserved youth.
In a 31-year tenure with the Symphony, Judy Dines stands as the orchestra’s sole Black member. Her artistry and mentorship inspire CMCH students and families. The benefit concert held at Pilgrim Congregational Church will feature Ms. Dines performing popular classical and standard repertoire. Talented CMCH students will join Ms. Dines for select pieces in a celebratory collaboration.
Funds raised will help CMCH start to renovate its Historic Building in Houston’s storied Third Ward, home to generations of local artists. Please join us in supporting arts education and cultural enrichment for the next generation of Houstonians.
