Join HCAS, Air Alliance Houston, CEER, and Tecolotl for a screening of Can’t Stop Change: Queer Climate Stories from the Florida Frontlines, a compelling new documentary exploring the intersection of ecological justice and queer liberation. The screening will be followed by a bilingual, in-depth conversation featuring community experts including Vero Pina (CEER/Fort Bend Environmental Group) and Dominic Chacon (Texas Campaign for the Environment), moderated by Andy Escobar (CEER) discussing the issues presented in the film and answering questions.
After the screening and panel discussion, we invite all attendees to the gallery to enjoy complimentary refreshments and engage in discussion about the film and learn more about organizations in Houston dedicated to climate justice and queer liberation. HIV testing and voter registration will also be available.
Masks required.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the film begins at 7:30 PM.
The event is free, but we highly encourage donations. Your support makes a real difference!
