ECHO Orchestra and Fly Dance Company will meet on stage for an unexpected collaboration between classical and hip-hop. The Outspoken Bean, Houston’s 5th Poet Laureate, will also be joining the orchestra on stage to present 3 original spoken word works to be paired with the music. ECHO will perform:

Camille Saint-Saëns’s Bacchanale (9 minutes) with Fly Dance Company
Camille Saint-Saëns’s Danse Macabre (9 minutes) with Fly Dance Company and Outspoken Bean
Edvard Grieg Peer Gynt Suite “Morning” (6 minutes) with Fly Dance Company and Outspoken Bean
Arturo Márquez’s Conga del Fuego (5 minutes) with Fly Dance Company
This concert will take place at Strake Jesuit’s Parsley Center at 7:30pm. The Parsley Center is a state of the art performance facility that can seat up to 1,000 people. We hope you will joining us for this one-of-a-kind performance that showcases what Houston is all about.
