The Original and Historical Downtown Artists’ Warehouse District will “open house” their working art studios and gallery exhibition spaces to the public for the Official ARTCRAWLhouston2024, a one-day event on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 10am to 9pm. Some venues will be open for viewing Friday and Sunday.
This year’s event marks the 32nd Anniversary of Artistic Survival by an all-volunteer-artist-run, non-organization in the 4th largest city in the United States. Over 100 Artists will pARTicipate in Houston’s original cluster of artists warehouses: Bisong Art Gallery, Hardy & Nance Studios, Los Muertos Tattoo Studio, Mother Dog Studios, and Saint Arnold Brewing Company. Special thanks to our sponsors: Clay Crawford, NDT Seals, Platinum Parking, Saint Arnold Brewing Company, and Studio 713.
Mother Dog Studios, the oldest surviving Artist-run warehouse in Houston and ArtCrawl Houston headquarters, will present “Gone Fishing”, a mixed media, thematic group show referencing the spectrum of our existential relationship to water as recreation, as sport, an escape, an excuse, a contemplation, an anticipation, a necessity.
