Multiple artists perform the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and other composers in a benefit for Houston Food Bank. An open house, come-and-go celebration of Bach, featuring performances by teachers, students, and professional musicians. Enjoy a wide variety of music – from organ and strings to brass, flute ensembles, singers, and family duets. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to enjoy beautiful music and support a great cause!
Founded in 1982, Bach Society Houston presents rich, vibrant, historically-informed live performances of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, his contemporaries and his musical descendants. Most concerts are at Christ the King Lutheran Church under Artistic Director Rick Erickson. The orchestra offers 11 performances this season. www.bachsocietyhouston.org 713-400-0514
