A cozy spot located 30 minutes north of Houston, The Woodlands Art Gallery & Studios offers original fine art from regional artists. We have been told we are more like a home in the woods rather than a cavernous art gallery. In fact most of the furniture is from the gallery owner’s previous home. Emily Chiles Startz sold her home in Houston after the death of her husband and moved to the “Best Town to Live In,” The Woodlands, Texas, in 2021 when she opened The Woodlands Art Gallery & Studios. An artist herself, Emily also has her art studio in the gallery where she creates abstracts and landscapes.

Another thing we offer, besides selling art from our featured artists, is displaying art on a consignment basis from local artists and works of art from our art-loving neighbors. We also sell used books in our Reading Room, too.

We regularly rotate the art every 2 months from our featured artists and host a reception where one can visit with the artist and gain insight into their work and methods.
