Join us for a 2 day hands on clay workshop.
The workshop will focus on demonstrating how Diana creates complex surfaces using custom sprig molds, carving, and handmade draw tools.
Participants will learn to make their own custom sprig molds and drawing tools, with time allocated to practice and apply these techniques.
Normal tools for clay work, small carving/shaping tools to work on the sprig molds. Wooden dowels, parts from a ball point pen, that little set of small assorted loop tools from kemper, and a sharp pointed wooden tool with a blunt end. Small paring knife is useful for cleaning up sprig molds after casting. Fettling knife also helpful.
Lunch will be provided.
